if(!isset($newsletterMsg)){ ?>Charvis and Morgan take 737 Challenge coaching session
16th March 2011

Former Welsh internationals Colin Charvis and Kevin Morgan took a special coaching session at Rougemont School this week to support friend and former Wales flanker Richard Parks and his 737 Challenge.
Colin and Kevin kindly donated their time as an auction prize at Richard Parks’ 737 Challenge Gala Dinner in December and their coaching prize raised £300 for the 737 Challenge which is raising funds in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Richard’s brother Andrew bid for the prize and stepson Jarvis and fellow pupils at Rougemont School in Newport benefited from a special coaching session from the former Wales captain and full-back.
Aled Rees, PE Teacher at Rougemont School stated; “It was a fantastic opportunity to have high quality coaching for the pupils, we are very grateful to Colin and Kevin, and proud to be able to support the 737 Challenge”.
Colin Charvis, a friend of Richard Parks and avid supporter of his world first expedition added; “I had a great time, really good fun with the kids, they put in loads of effort, Kevin and I struggled to keep up!”.
Wales' 2005 Grand Slam winning full-back Kevin Morgan, now strength and conditioning coach at the Ospreys has been the man behind much of Richard’s physical conditioning for his world first 737 Challenge. He worked alongside Richard during his 16 months of preparation and was more than happy to devote yet more time to the 737 Challenge, he said; “I was really pleased with the effort from the boys, very impressed with their commitment and the level of improvement and of course it was great to be able to help Rich out and raise funds for his 737 Challenge”.
A massive thank you from the 737 Challenge to Colin and Kev for their time and to Andrew Parks for his auction bid!
